Lou Barlow has a new video up on YouTube. Like it. It's cute. The best shot is the one where he helps his friend up and he chimes in so nicely in the chorus. Like hearing that amazing voice and seeing what looks like Lou's house. Personal and real. Nice mellow feel that continues through album. Merge records is releasing a new video every week so you can see it on LOOTUBE, http://www.mergerecords.com/lootube/ as well as on YouTube. Can't wait for next week! He is also playing in NYC on October 6 http://loobiecore.com/newtour.html so if you're a fan, come on out.
Our progress on the video for Lou is coming along nicely. Inco is finished with most of the figures (the band and Natalie) so now she is working on the drum kit and Lou's guitar. After that, the shooting begins. Inco just installed another of her works in the Royale cupcake shop on 6th Avenue near West 11th St in Greenwich Village. Here is a photo of some of the piece close up and of Inco in the window during installation. Check out the detail of the woman behind the counter and the coffee-maker and stuff on the shelf behind the counter. Her attention to detail is wild. I wish I lived in one of these little world's for just an hour. So pure.
