Magnum Photos: Bronze sculpture downtown 9/11

I was reminded of this photo recently because of a photo I took of my daughter two weeks ago downtown near the WTC site http://www.flickr.com/photos/knz/3899077782/

I wish I could see this one a little bigger, but the photo is amazing because it really looks like someone, like my Dad maybe, looking into his briefcase while sitting on a bench, all within chaos.

Wild that 8 years have gone by for us people who live downtown and those in the world. It's a really a changed city now in some respects. But from this I was hunting around the Magnum site and there are some really nice videos on there, cool! I started watching this one http://inmotion.magnumphotos.com/essay/short-interview-bruce-gilden and loved hearing the photographer's voice and seeing him with his cat. Priceless video really. Loved hearing how he uses the flash and seeing the prints of his favorites from Coney Island and elsewhere. Nice discovery of how the mind and the internet work to help us discover new things.
