I discovered Phillip Bloom's blog months ago when I saw "Sofia's People", a low light, Canon 5D MK2 camera test and loved what I saw. Now he has some tests up of shooting slow motion with the Canon 7D, that are cool but since it is only 60p, it needs to be slower I think to really have an impact. Check it out. I love the slow motion with the Sony CX100, but this is cool as well. The problem with the Sony is the limited time, only 3 seconds when slowed down =12 seconds. Could hinder some extended production while the 7D has more time. Would like to see the stuff slower, and since the people aren't doing much, the best shot is at the end with the water on the last guy's head. The interesting thing is we are now seeing more high quality looking video on these digital SLR camera that even encompasses slow motion. Nice to look at.
