Zachary and I are helping Doug Wolens with the editing of his new documentary, The Singularity, and this rings true for the various cuts we have looked at. We are giving feedback while watching the film together over iChat so it's been fun seeing how he's cutting it down by now at least 2 1/2 hours in length. He interviewed Kurzweil at length so it's cool to see some of the photos of him at home. I think Doug's film will make a real impact as I didn't really know anything about it before he started in on the film, and now I am fascinated about it. The T-shirt designs are hilarious too.
